North Shore Magnetic Imaging Center is an MRI imaging center providing both in-patient and out-patient services to residents of the North Shore and surrounding communities.
Positions Available:
Practice Manager for North Shore P.E.T. Imaging Center
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Board of Managers, performs a variety of duties necessary for the smooth operation of North Shore P.E.T. Imaging Center, LLC. Duties include, but are not limited to: budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff performance and marketing.
Experience / Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent experience in Healthcare Operation Management or its equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare operations, including forecasting and operations management.
Must have experience in operating and capital budgets.
Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
Must maintain a professional manner and appearance.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team.
Must be self-motivated and have ability to work in a healthcare setting.
Must have experience in developing and coaching staff.
Temporary Scheduler positions available:
Scheduler - Level 1 (Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5:30 pm)
Scheduler - Level 1 (Monday to Friday: 10:30 am to 7 pm)
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Support Team Leader, the Staff Scheduler performs a variety of duties to ensure the efficient and effective scheduling function at the Center.
Experience / Education:
Excellent typing skills. Medical terminology skills normally acquired through completion of a two-year executive secretarial course or equivalent training. Good interpersonal skills and basic knowledge of PC computer systems.
Staff Technologist (Evening and Weekend Hours)
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Site Leader, the Staff Technologist provides quality scans for the Center's patients, scanning them in a safe and timely manner. In addition, the Technologist uses all of his or her technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner.
Experience / Education:
Must hold an Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology, current licensure/certification with the state of Massachusetts and the ARRT. Must also hold advanced level certification in MR. BLS Certification is required.
